When it comes to protecting bomb disposal operators, there is no room for compromise. That is why we are proud to supply the Med-Eng EOD 10E bomb suit through our framework agreement with FMV, the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Police.

Certified – not just designed to meet the standard
The EOD 10E is fully tested and certified to NIJ Standard 0117.01, the US standard for bomb suits. This is an important distinction: many products are designed to meet a standard – the EOD 10E is certified. The certification covers fragmentation protection, blast overpressure, head and spine protection, flame resistance, optics and ergonomics, verified by independent NIJ-accredited laboratories.
Protection, comfort and endurance
The EOD 10E is designed to give the operator the highest possible level of protection, increased comfort and thereby better and longer endurance when working in the suit. Key features include:
- Improved ballistic materials providing equal or better protection at lower weight
- Weight distribution shifted towards the hips, reducing back strain and increasing mobility
- Integrated ventilation in helmet and jacket to mitigate heat stress during long operations
- Shielded electronics, compatible with Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) when working against radio-controlled IEDs
- Patented emergency retrieval system for rapid extraction of the operator
Med-Eng is the world leader in bomb disposal protection, and the EOD 10E is trusted by bomb technicians in more than 60 countries.
